Saeed
Edutainer Saeed Coleman is an American lyricist, songwriter, and businessman. Amidst humble beginnings in Richmond, CA, where he experienced many run-ins with the law and spent time in juvenile hall, Saeed made a series of choices to manifest his circumstances into success. Musically, his lyrics aim to inspire everyday people, often mimicking the flair and emboldened lyricism heard in East Coast rap, Saeed strays from traditional gangsta personas found in his hometown region, but remains no less tapped in to the struggle and the streets. Entrepreneurially, Saeed’s LLC, Live From Paradise, continues to build influence and make headway as a top rising company from the Bay Area.
Born in 1987, Saeed first touched the mic at the young age of 13. He loosely recorded and released music with friends and was briefly a member of the group GMC in 2003. Over a decade later, Saeed continued to grind expeditiously. He traveled to 40 states to boost his network with artists around the U.S. and performed various shows. 2015 proved to be a catalyst year. Saeed not only performed as an opening act in Nipsey Hussle’s Mailbox Money Tour, but also discussed his business idea with Hussle behind-the-scenes. Less than a week later, and with Hussle’s blessing, Saeed launched the enterprise Live From Paradise. Two years later, he released his first full-length album #WriteNow fully produced by Christiamentalz, and with feature appearances from Sacramento legend Mozzy, wantmoreN8, Ant Bankx, Mistah Luhtakizz, Kola B, and others. Saeed’s sophomore album S.T.A.T.U.S. followed in 2018 with assisted tracks from Jon Royce, Bam, Dip, and Willy West.
The momentum continues, Saeed is gearing up to drop 52 pieces of music this year, having already kicked off the first quarter with the release of the EP “#All4Siah5” and follow-up album “Playaz Club” produced by the likes of Loqee Chris, Jstn Tyme, New Sean & Luv Trey. A joint EP with fellow rapper Nate Grapes is set to drop later in the year under the title, The Mountain That Met The Pebbles and Khalil Simplis “Untitled” With plenty of singles in store, Saeed also expects to also release collaborative R&B album with Clay Dub titled “Guitar Raps”. With so much coming from this young visionary, Saeed’s work embodies the true meaning of dedication and pursuits of greatness.
